Caroline Springs celebrates record sales week
Australia’s best masterplanned community, Caroline Springs is celebrating with two record sales this week.

Caroline Springs sold an established home in the village Springlake for $640,000 as well as a sale made in the Town Centre for $641, 146 in an off the plan sale.

Caroline Springs Project Director, Martin Gaedke, said he was delighted by news of the sales.

“These prices clearly demonstrate that the market is prepared for high quality homes in good locations,” he said.

“This highlights the value proposition of Caroline Springs. Our traditional lots first sold at $58,000 in our first land releases, they are now reaching prices of $374,000, that’s significant capital growth.”

Caroline Springs was named as Australia’s best masterplanned community at the Urban Development Institute of Australia’s 2006 Awards for Excellence ceremony last month.

“We were delighted when we received this award, and it is a credit to all of our residents and hard-working staff,” Mr Gaedke said.

“The residents of Caroline Springs are a huge part of why our community is one of the most reputable and recognised masterplanned communities in the country.”

Located 22 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD, Caroline Springs is an 800 hectare development encompassing 13 villages around Lake Caroline.

Caroline Springs is a $883 million development by Delfin Lend Lease and will eventually be home to over 23,000 people in 8,000 homes by 2013.

Delfin Lend Lease is Australia’s leading developer of masterplanned communities with more than 16 trading projects across Australia.
