Record Sales for Woodlands
South-East Queensland’s newest masterplanned community Woodlands has achieved yet another major milestone with record sales of one land contract signed per day in October to date.
Woodlands has sold more than 155 blocks, the equivalent of eight land releases, since the project’s launch in late 2005.
November will see the opening of new Display Homes in the Woodlands Living Options Display Village which when completed will have more than $4.5million worth of homes and land on show.
Woodlands project director Darlene Clark said she expected sales to increase further in the coming months, with the release of the Woodlands Living Options Display Village.
“Four homes in the new display village have opened early, with a further three to open in November, making it easier for home buyers to visualise their new home on a Woodlands block.
Woodlands’ Living Options Display Village will feature homes built by Adenbrook Homes, Colonial Building Company, Darrington Homes, Inka Homes, Orbit Homes, Powell Constructions, Santo Correnti Homes & Webster Homes.
“We have had a tremendous response from buyers for what we are creating at Woodlands and the community is really starting to take shape with 36 homes currently under construction and ten already complete.
With an emphasis on creating a fit and healthy residential community, Woodlands’ first park will form the start of the seven kilometres Adventure Links – a series of fitness routes and exercise stations to encourage a healthier lifestyle.
“Australians are increasingly interested in living healthier lifestyles and enjoying their free time more, which is why this is the first time we have created a project around fitness routes,” Ms Clark said.
Upon completion, Woodlands will feature eight parks – all within a convenient walking distance of every home, six multi-purpose courts and over 30 hectares of green open spaces including a 17-hectare environmental corridor.
Woodlands is being developed by Delfin Lend Lease, Australia’s largest developer of masterplanned communities with 16 trading projects across Australia.media
