Blakes Crossing opens virtual village
Delfin Lend Lease’s Blakes Crossing community has opened the doors to an innovative online virtual village, using high definition 3D models and animation to allow homebuyers to “walk through” the community from the comfort of their own homes.
The initiative is the first of its kind for a master planned development in South Australia and will continue to evolve as Blakes Crossing confirms new community facilities, land releases and homes.
Blakes Crossing Project Director Troy Jamieson said the new marketing tool was online at www.blakescrossing.com.au and available to view at the Blakes Crossing Sales and Information Centre, which is open 7 days a week.
“The virtual tour of Blakes Crossing is a unique way to help customers visualise how the community will look once it’s complete,” he said.
“Homebuyers can stroll down the virtual main street, taking in the community’s planned shopping and retail facilities, pristine landscaping and variety of architecture. Homebuyers can visit the community’s planned central park, which will feature a lake, barbecue and picnic facilities, playground, play spaces and a community event space.
“Homebuyers can even pop into Blakes Crossing’s virtual residential villages, to see for themselves the wide range of housing types that are available to suit a range of tastes, lifestyles and budgets.
“By experiencing the different features of each pocket of the community, homebuyers can see firsthand the community’s secure village features and friendly streets.”
Blakes Crossing features lots ranging in size from 267sqm to 650sqm priced from $122,000 to $213,000. For more information, please call Blakes Crossing Sales and Information centre on 1800 068 388.

Blakes Crossing is being developing by Delfin Lend Lease, Australia’s leading developer of urban communities with 25 projects across Australia.
