Delfin unveils unique inner-city housing precinct at Caroline Springs
A unique new inner-city living style precinct designed for professionals, empty nesters and investors will soon be unveiled at Delfin Lend Leases’ flagship community, Caroline Springs.

The Delfin Living Options Town Collection featuring 12 inner-city style homes by five of Melbourne’s leading builders will shape a new trend in housing design in Victoria’s outer-metropolitan areas.

Caroline Springs Project Director Martin Gaedke said the new homes were designed following five years of market research, which showed demand for modern inner-city style homes in the comfort of outer suburban environments.

“Across Melbourne we have seen a shift in demand towards modern, stylish, low maintenance homes that allow people to spend a greater percentage of their time on the more important things in life,” Mr Gaedke said.

“The Delfin Living Options Town Collection represents the first time Melbournians have had the chance to own an inner-city style home in an outer-metropolitan area and still enjoy a vibrant, cosmopolitan lifestyle.”

To deliver high quality urban homes in the Town Collection, Delfin has partnered with prominent builders including, Metrohaven Homes, Urbayne Homes, Marklews, Grollo Homes and Comdain Homes.

Prominently located on The Esplanade at Caroline Springs, the release of the Town Collection also heralds the first opportunity for people to own a house on the stunning 7.8 hectare Lake Caroline, the centrepiece of Caroline Springs extensive network of waterways.

“The Town Collection is set on the southern banks of Lake Caroline, which is widely regarded as the recreational heart of Caroline Springs,” Mr Gaedke said

“Living on the lake will give people unrivalled access to a range of sports facilities, relaxing parks and gardens as well as shops, cafes, retail stores and restaurants.”

To be launched on Sunday, 16 September 2007 from 10am, homes in the Delfin Living Options Town Collection range in size form 178 to 383 square metres, with house and land priced from $332,000.

Located 22 kilometres west of Melbourne’s CBD, Caroline Springs is an 800 hectare development encompassing 15 villages around Lake Caroline. It will be home to more than 23,000 people in 8,000 homes by around the year 2013.
Caroline Springs is being developed by Delfin Lend Lease, Australia’s largest developer of masterplanned communities, with 16 trading projects nationally.
