The New Rouse Hill - Open for inspection 13-14 October
The Demonstration Village comprises nine homes that showcase the innovative design and diversity that are representative of the homes that will make up the new community. With a focus on sustainability, the residential options on display demonstrate comfort, convenience and environmental consciousness.

The community and potential residents are invited to The New Rouse Hill, north western Sydney's newest sustainable community, to tour the Demonstration Village and also get involved in the festivities across the weekend. An interior stylist will be on hand to provide decorating advice, free massages and mini manicures will be offered in a pampering corner and a range of complimentary culinary options including a cheese tasting station and gelato bar are on offer. The kids will also be entertained by Circus Works who will teach them how to juggle, make balloon shapes and ride monocycles.

"The weekend is a celebration of many years of planning and we would encourage people to visit The New Rouse Hill and see what the community will offer," said Stuart Mendel, Project Director for The New Rouse Hill.

"We have sold over 40 land lots, homes and apartments as part of our pre-launch phase. This response indicates that we are offering an innovative living alternative for the area and we welcome everybody to come and have a look."

The Demonstration Village also includes an ESD house which showcases the very latest ESD features, designed to encourage visitors and potential purchasers to consider incorporating green outcomes in their own homes. The home demonstrates more than 20 initiatives, including a gas boosted solar hot water system, energy and water efficient appliances and fittings, edible garden, recycling opportunities for water and waste, native landscaping, ceiling fans in the living and bedroom areas and is designed to take advantage of natural light, heat and ventilation.

The Southern Residential Precinct which offers the initial release of living options, is 600 metres from the Rouse Hill Town Centre, which opened on 25 September and provides a community focal point with places to eat, shop and socialise.
