Australian builders take home prestigious Delfin awards
Australian builders Serenity Homes, Urbayne Homes, Anthony Cirocco Design and Lab3 Group, Don Gray Building and Cosmopolitan Living took out the top national awards at the Delfin Lend Lease 2008 Grand Masters Awards tonight, recognising their commitment to innovation and best practice within the industry.

The 10th annual Delfin Lend Lease Grand Masters Awards recognise excellence and innovation in the building industry across Delfin’s 25 projects throughout Australia.

Delfin Lend Lease Chief Executive Officer David Keir said the results demonstrated the high standard of housing choice on display across the country.

“Every year our judges are impressed by the innovative designs at Delfin communities across Australia. The exceptional products and stellar new homes featured in this year’s Grand Masters Awards entries have certainly raised the bar on industry’s standards, with our builders taking a groundbreaking approach to urban design, housing and environmentally-sustainable living,” Mr Keir said.

“Delfin prides itself on designing communities that offer a range of innovative and quality housing options to suit every lifestyle and budget.

This year’s entries were judged on street appeal, design, livability, sustainability, marketing and value for money. Each nomination was reviewed by a panel of high-profile industry judges, including Janine Nechwatal, General Manager Greensmart, Housing Industry Association Victoria, Carol Brett, Managing Editor of Better Homes and Gardens Magazine, and Andrew Keag, Principal Architect, Delfin Lend Lease.

Delfin Lend Lease is Australia’s largest developer of master planned communities with 25 projects nationally.
