Steve McCann
Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director |  | Steve was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director in December 2008, and joined the Board in March 2009. Steve is based in Sydney.
Steve joined Lend Lease in 2005. Prior to his current role, Steve was Group Finance Director, appointed in March 2007 and Chief Executive Officer for Lend Lease’s investment management business from September 2005 to December 2007.
Steve has more than 15 years experience in funds management and capital markets transactions. Prior to joining Lend Lease, Steve spent six years at ABN AMRO, where his roles included Head of Property, Head of Industrial Mergers & Acquisitions and for the last three years, Head of Equity Capital Markets for Australia and New Zealand.
Previous roles also include Head of Property at Bankers’ Trust, four years as a mergers & acquisitions lawyer at Freehills, Melbourne and four years in taxation accounting at Deloittes, Melbourne.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Economics degree (Finance major) and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.

Scott Charlton
Group Director of Operations |  | Scott joined Lend Lease in March 2010 as Group Director of Operations, and is based in Sydney.
Scott is responsible for managing Lend Lease’s key corporate functions including Human Resources, Finance, Corporate Affairs and Information and Communications Technology. Lend Lease's infrastructure business in Australia, which incorporates Abigroup, Baulderstone and Conneq also reports to Scott. In addition, Scott is overseeing the integration of the Abigroup, Baulderstone and Conneq businesses, which joined the Lend Lease Group in March 2011.
Scott brings more than 21 years experience in property, construction, infrastructure and finance to Lend Lease.
Prior to joining Lend Lease Scott spent over six years at Leighton Holdings, most recently as the Chief Financial Officer, a position he was appointed to in June 2007. During this time Scott was also Associate Director of Leighton Holdings and Director of Leighton Properties and Leighton International. Prior to this Scott was the Executive General Manager of Finance where he was responsible for treasury operations, group taxation, project finance, investments and acquisitions.
Between 1995 and 2003 Scott held numerous positions at Deutsche Bank in Australia and Hong Kong including Managing Director, Head of Transport & Infrastructure Asia Pacific and Head of Project Finance. Scott moved to Australia in 1992 from his native US, and took up a role with Allco Finance Group as Director of Infrastructure.
Scott holds a Masters in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Brad Soller
Group Chief Financial Officer |  | Brad was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in October 2009, and is based in Sydney.
Brad joined Lend Lease in September 2001 and has held a number of senior finance positions within Lend Lease. Prior to his current role, Brad was Deputy Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to this Brad was Global Chief Financial Officer of Real Estate Solutions, which incorporated Lend Lease's project management & construction, development & infrastructure development business; and Chief Financial Officer of Lend Lease Asia Pacific.
Brad has more than 20 years experience and has held several senior finance positions in the United Kingdom including Finance Director at BAA McArthur Glen Ltd and Thom Plc. He qualified as a chartered accountant in South Africa and spent ten years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in South Africa and London.
Brad holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Master of Commerce from the University of Witwatersrand.

Rod Leaver
Chief Executive Officer Asia |  | Rod was appointed Chief Executive Officer Asia in April 2011, and is based in Singapore.
He joined Lend Lease in January 2008. Prior to his current role Rod was Chief Executive Officer Australia, and prior to this Chief Executive Officer of Asia Pacific and Global Head of Lend Lease's investment management business, where he also had responsibility for the UK infrastructure development business and the US based public partnership's business.
Rod has over 30 years experience in the property industry and has worked extensively throughout Australia and Asia. He has previously held roles as Executive Chairman and founder of the listed Ronin Property Group, managing total funds of A$2.4 billion; co-founded and worked as Chief Executive Officer of the listed property investment company, James Fielding Group; and was also a co-founder and Executive Director of Paladin Australia Limited, managing total funds of A$2.3 billion.
Rod is a Director of the Green Building Council of Australia and Chair of the Australian National Business Leader’s Forum on Sustainable Development. He was previously a member of the Australian Government’s Business Roundtable on Climate Change and a National Director of the Property Council of Australia; and their NSW President for three years. He has also held positions on the New South Wales Government’s Heritage Council and their Historic Houses Trust Foundation; and also the Property Industry Foundation.
Rod is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Robert McNamara
Chief Executive Officer Americas |  | Robert was appointed Chief Executive Officer Americas in April 2010 and is based in New York. Robert oversees all aspects of the Lend Lease businesses in the United States, Canada and Latin America.
Robert has over 30 years of experience managing global businesses in the development, design and delivery of projects in the government, institutional, infrastructure and industrial sectors in senior management positions including, most recently, as chairman and chief executive officer of Penhall/LVI International (PLI), the two largest US firms providing environmental remediation, concrete services and infrastructure repair.
Robert also served as senior group president of Fluor Corporation responsible for the global businesses in mining, manufacturing, public-private partnerships, infrastructure and chemicals, and global project execution systems, the China Initiative and strategic planning. As president and chief operating officer, Marshall Contractors, Robert led the firm’s initiatives in development, pharmaceuticals and microelectronics design and build project delivery.
Robert sits on the Boards of numerous, privately-held firms, and has served on the Board of the US China Business Council and as chairman for the Construction Industry Institute’s Technology Implementation Task Force. Robert received a Bachelor Degree in Economics from Brown University, completed the Consortia 1 Program at Thunderbird International Business School and received certification as a Public Board Director from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Mark Menhinnitt
Chief Executive Officer Australia |  | Mark was appointed Chief Executive Officer Australia in April 2011, and is based in Sydney.
In his current role Mark is responsible for Lend Lease’s Australia business, comprising of development, construction, retirement living, investment management and infrastructure development.
Prior to his current role Mark was Group Head of Infrastructure Development, responsible for Lend Lease’s infrastructure development across North America (including Canada), Europe, the United Kingdom and Australia, including public partnerships and the Capella Capital partnership.
Mark joined Lend Lease in 1988, and has held a number of senior executive positions within the Group in Australia and the US. Previous roles include Global Chief Executive Officer of Lend Lease's project management and construction business, and Chief Operating Officer of Lend Lease's development business in Australia.
In 2000 Mark was appointed Chief Operating Officer and subsequently President of Lend Lease's public partnership businesses in the US. In his six years with Lend Lease in the US, Mark was instrumental in positioning Lend Lease as the leading provider of military community and infrastructure privatisation partnerships in the US.
Mark has a Bachelor of Engineering from the Queensland University of Technology and in 2010 was recognised as the Outstanding Alumni for the Faculty of Built Environment and Engineering

Daniel Labbad
Chief Executive Officer Europe, Middle East & Africa |  | Dan was appointed Chief Executive Officer Europe, Middle East & Africa in April 2010, and is based in London.
Prior to his current role, Dan was the Chief Executive Officer of Lend Lease in Europe with responsibility for Lend Lease's retail, residential, infrastructure development and investment management business, as well as major projects.
Dan began his career in 1993 with John Holland as a site engineer in Sydney. He joined Lend Lease in 1997 and in 1999 became Project Director for the AU$500million upgrade of Sydney International Airport in preparation for the 2000 Olympics. In 2001 Dan took on the role of inaugural Chief Executive of The Hornery Institute a non-profit organisation focussed on community development, established by Lend Lease employees and shareholders.
Returning to Lend Lease in 2004 Dan served in a number of corporate roles including risk, safety and developing and implementing a Sustainability Transformation Plan for the Lend Lease Group; initiating the Sustainability Measurement criteria and global reporting requirements which resulted in the production of Lend Lease’s inaugural Sustainability report in 2005.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (1st Class Honors) from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of NSW, Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM). Dan is also Chair of the UK Green Building Council.

David Hutton
Group Head of Development |  | David was appointed Group Head of Development in April 2010, and is based in Sydney.
His role spans the group’s key geographies and includes leading strategy and supporting growth of new development initiatives; overseeing major development projects; and driving continuous improvement in origination, conversion and delivery capabilities.
David joined Lend Lease in 1988. Prior to his current role, David was Chief Operating Officer of Lend Lease in Asia. During his career at Lend Lease he has held numerous senior positions in Australia and London including Chief Executive Officer of Lend Lease in Europe, Chief Operating Officer of Lend Lease's development business, and Chief Executive Officer of Lend Lease's retail and communities business in Asia Pacific.
David has significant experience in retail development; fund, asset and property management; and major urban residential, commercial and mixed use projects. He has negotiated and managed numerous joint venture structures with both government and private sector partners.
David holds a Bachelor of Business (with Distinction) from Charles Sturt University, has formal qualifications in retail management and is a licensed real estate agent. He has held previous Industry Board positions on the British Property Federation and the Investment Property Forum in the UK, and is currently on the National board of the Property Council of Australia.

Murray Coleman
Managing Director,
Australia Project Management & Construction |  | Murray has a dual role at Lend Lease. He has Group responsibility, overseeing Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) and Risk & Insurance. Murray is also Managing Director, Australia of Lend Lease’s project management & construction business. Both appointments were made in February 2011 and Murray is based in Sydney.
Murray joined Lend Lease in 1987 and has held a number of senior executive positions including Group Head of Lend Lease's project management & construction business, and Chief Executive Officer of Lend Lease's construction business in the UK - a role he was appointed to in 2006. This followed on from his Sydney based role as Chief Executive Officer of Lend Lease's project management & construction business for the Asia Pacific region.
Murray holds a Bachelor of Building (1st Class Honours) from the University of Melbourne, and was a Commissioner of the UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES) in 2008. Murray is Director and board member of the Australian Contractors Association, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Building and in 2009 was appointed a Professorial Fellow at the University of Melbourne in the faculty of Architecture, Building & Planning.
Murray is on the International Panel of Experts on Construction Productivity and Prefabrication Technology for the Building Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore, and is a Foundation Industry Fellow of the AIB College of Building in Australia.

Tarun Gupta
Group Head of Investment Management |  | Tarun was appointed Group Head of Investment Management in April 2010, and is based in Sydney.
Tarun joined Lend Lease in 1994 and has held a number of senior executive positions within Lend Lease’s investment management business in Australia. Prior to his current role Tarun was the Chief Investment Officer, Asia Pacific and Chief Executive Officer for the investment management business in Australia.
Prior to this Tarun held various roles in investment, asset and development management, including Fund Manager of Australian Prime Property Fund (APPF) between 2005 and 2008, Lend Lease’s $5 billion flagship unlisted Fund. Tarun’s other roles have included Portfolio Manager, APPF Retail; Assistant Fund Manager, APPF Series; and Fund Manager, APPF Series.
Tarun has extensive investment management experience including acquisitions, divestments, asset management, development management, property management, leasing, research, capital raising, capital management and investment analysis.
Tarun holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Delhi and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Newcastle.

Peter Brecht
Managing Director, Infrastructure |  | Peter Brecht was appointed Managing Director, Infrastructure in Australia when Lend Lease acquired the Valemus business in March 2011. Peter is based in Sydney.
Lend Lease’s infrastructure business in Australia delivers market leading engineering solutions through Abigroup and Baulderstone in the construction industry, and in the services industry through Conneq.
Prior to becoming CEO of Valemus in February 2009, Peter spent 20 years with Abigroup where he progressed from Site Engineer to Managing Director. He was the Managing Director of Abigroup Contractors for 10 years and Managing Director of Abigroup Limited for four years. Under Peter’s leadership Abigroup’s turnover doubled, and the business diversified into mining, water and telecommunications.
Peter has over 30 years experience in civil engineering and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Newcastle University, NSW. Currently, he is President of the Australian Constructors Association (ACA) and a Board Member of the University of Newcastle Foundation. He is also on the Engineering and Built Environment Advisory Board at Newcastle University and the CEO Forum for the QUT School of Business. |

William Hara
Group General Counsel and Company Secretary |  | William was appointed Group General Counsel in January 2007 and Company Secretary July 2007, and is based in Sydney.
William has more than 20 years experience in private practice including Freehills and across a number of corporate roles including as General Counsel of another ASX listed entity.
William holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales and is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales.

Tony Lombardo
Group Head of Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions |  | Tony joined Lend Lease in July 2007 as Group Head of Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), and is based in Sydney.
Since joining Lend Lease, Tony has led a number of initiatives including refocusing the Group’s overall business strategy, leading the Primelife and PTN acquisitions and leading the strategy and analysis for the recent Group reorganisation.
Prior to joining Lend Lease, Tony spent almost ten years at GE, with responsibilities across numerous functional disciplines including Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions and Finance, for both GE Capital and GE Corporate.
Tony gained international experience during his last three and a half years with GE Capital. Based in Connecticut, USA Tony was Vice President - Strategy of GE Money and prior to that Director of M&A, where he was successfully involved in closing six international transactions across Eastern Europe and SE Asia. Prior to this, Tony worked at KPMG in Audit for four and a half years.
Tony holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from RMIT University, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Maria Atkinson
Group Head of Sustainability |  | Maria has a dual role at Lend Lease. She has been Group Head of Sustainability and a member of the Executive Management Team since 2006, with responsibility to work across the organisation to respond to risks and strategic opportunities to shape Lend Lease’s global business to epitomise sustainability. In 2010 Maria was also appointed to the role of Managing Director for Lend Lease’s consulting business ‘Sustainability Solutions’. She is based in Sydney.
Prior to re-joining Lend Lease in 2006 Maria was a co-founder and founding CEO of the ‘Green Building Council of Australia’. Now a Life Fellow of the organisation, Maria is also a member of the City of Sydney’s ‘Design Advisory Committee’; the Australian Government’s Department of Climate Change and CSIRO’s ‘Climate Adaptation Flagship Stakeholder Advisory Group’; the New South Wales Government’s ‘Climate Change Council’; and a Director of the St James Ethics Foundation.
Internationally recognised, Maria is a Director of the United States Green Building Council, a Director of The Global Foundation, and immediate past Chair of the United Nations Environment Programme Sustainable Buildings & Climate Initiative.
Maria holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Environmental Biology) from the University of Technology, Sydney, and a Diploma from the Australian Institute Company Directors.

Brian Long
Group Head of Environment, Health & Safety |  | Brian was appointed Group Head of Environment, Health & Safety in August 2010, and is based in Sydney.
Brian joined Lend Lease in December 2000 and has undertaken a number of senior Health & Safety roles in the CEMEA, Asia Pacific, and Australian regions. Prior to his current role, Brian was Global Head of Health & Safety for Lend Lease's project management and construction business.
Brian has more than 12 years construction and property experience overall, with 10 specifically in the area of Health and Safety.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Surveying) and a Masters Degree (MSc) in Environmental and Health & Safety Management. Brian is also a Chartered Member of IOSH (the world’s largest chartered body for Health & Safety professionals).

Michael Vavakis
Group Head of Human Resources |  | Michael was appointed Group Head of Human Resources in April 2010, and is based in Sydney, Australia. He joined Lend Lease in January 2010 as Corporate Head of Human Resources.
Prior to joining Lend Lease Michael spent 18 years with Hewlett Packard where he held a number of senior HR executive positions, and worked in Australia, China, Hong Kong and the US. Most recently, Michael was Vice President of Human Resources in the Asia Pacific region – a multi-faceted group representing a diverse cross section of cultures, with over 75,000 employees.
Michael’s span of HR experience includes HR functional management including resourcing, compensation and benefits, culture and diversity, internal communications and HR consulting. He has also held roles in Sales Management and Sales Operations. Michael had been instrumental in defining and supporting several business transformations and has led several merger activities including the EDS/HP integration.
Michael majored in Accounting and Economics at Melbourne University. He has a Post graduate qualification in Economics and has an Advanced Management Degree from Wharton University. Michael is also currently undertaking a Masters Degree in Law at the University of New South Wales. Michael is an active member in the Australian Human Resource Institute and Corporate Leadership Council.

Jocelyn Harvey
Group Head of Corporate Affairs |  | Jocelyn was appointed Group Head of Corporate Affairs in December 2009 and is based in Sydney.
Jocelyn joined Lend Lease in 1993 and has held a number of senior marketing and communications positions within Lend Lease both in Australia and the UK. Prior to her current role Jocelyn was Head of Marketing and Communications for Lend Lease's project management and construction business, overseeing the Asia Pacific region – a position she held for three years.
Jocelyn has significant experience in strategic marketing and branding; media; and internal and external communications. She began her career with Lend Lease's Australian retail business and then relocated to the UK, where she worked for Lend Lease's retail and communities business. Whilst in the UK, Jocelyn worked on a number of high profile projects including Bluewater and Greenwich Peninsula.
Jocelyn holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Scott Farquhar
Group Chief Information Officer |  | Scott was appointed Group Chief Information Officer in July 2010, and is based in Sydney.
Scott joined Lend Lease in 2000 and has held a number of senior IT positions within the Group, in Australia, United Kingdom and the USA.
Prior to his current role, Scott was Chief Information Officer for Lend Lease’s businesses in the Asia Pacific region. Scott’s other roles within Lend Lease have included Chief Information Officer for the UK, Europe and the Middle East and Head of the Global Information and Communications Technology Operations team based in Atlanta.
Scott has significant experience in the strategy, planning and delivery of Information and Communications Technology projects and services.
Scott holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Newcastle.

Anthony Pascoe
Group Head of Venture Capital |  | Anthony was appointed Group Head of Venture Capital in January 2009, and is based in Sydney.
In this role, Anthony leads Lend Lease’s venture capital business which invests in commercially viable growth companies operating in energy, water and building sectors. This business is one of Australia’s most active cleantech investors with a current portfolio of six investments and a fund size of AU$100 million.
Anthony joined Lend Lease in November 2006. Prior to his current role Anthony was Global Chief Operating Officer of Lend Lease's investment management business, a position he held for two years. In this role, Anthony’s responsibilities included building offshore wholesale property funds management platforms in the UK and Singapore.
Prior to joining Lend Lease Anthony spent 20 years working in a number of senior executive roles. Between 2003 and 2006 Anthony was Chief Financial Officer and an Executive Director of ASX listed Blackmores Limited. His earlier career experience included almost a decade working in investment banking and subsequently running Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Strategy for one of Australia’s largest listed consumer branded businesses.
Anthony holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland, is a qualified chartered accountant, a fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Simon Blakers
Group Head of Risk and Insurance |  | Simon was appointed Group Head of Risk and Insurance in September 2010, and is based in Sydney.
Simon joined Lend Lease in November 2006 as the Group Risk and Insurance Manager.
Prior to working at Lend Lease, Simon was a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, consulting to blue chip companies in Australia, Asia Pacific, North America, United Kingdom and Continental Europe on performance improvement, strategy and risk management.
Simon holds a Bachelor of Economics from the Australian National University and an MBA from Macquarie University. Simon is a Chartered Accountant and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Finance and Treasury Association.
